Fresh New Day

Wake up, nurse baby, make breakfast, pack lunch, clean, laundry, bake loaf of bread and roll out linzer dough. Make lunch. Assemble linzer sanwiches with raspberry jam, wrap them as a Valentine's gift for Eve's school friend. Off to school to pick Eve up.

Are days really rushing by so quickly?

Oh, that these balmy early spring days would linger.

I was also able to prepare some butternut squash cannelloni with a pecan cream sauce for dinner, wash a load of diapers and give the kids baths today. Of course, there was quite a bit more love and attention to the kids in there. Not bad, but it still could have creeped along just a little slower.
